===== List Press Releases =====

Click on “Press” to display all press releases.They are sorted according to their publishing date in ascending order.\\

===== Select Database/Country/Language =====

elect the database (e.g. caparol), country and language, to display specific press releases. You have the following options:
  * delete a press release
  * modify a press release
  * duplicate a press release
  * add a new press release

===== General Data of a Press Release =====

The following Data can be edited:
– Database – Country – Language – Publishing Date –
– Headline – Short Text – If the press release shall not go online immediately its publishing date has to be set at least one month into the future.

===== Main Text =====

Text in the field “Short text” will only be displayed in the list of press releases. The main text is edited in the field “Text”. **Note: before you upload images you have to safe the other Information first by clicking on “Change”.**

===== Upload Image (1) =====

Select an image (JPEG) from your file system and click on
“Upload image”. **Note:You may have to modify the dimensions of the image because they are retained as they are.**

===== Upload Image (2) =====

The image has been uploaded and is assigned to the according press release. All images are numbered as follows: [Bild], [Bild2] etc.

===== Select an Image from the Database =====

Click on “Select image from the database“, to select an image for the current press release from the database.

===== Select Image =====

The image is assigned to the press release by clicking on the chain icon.

===== Caption =====

Each image can have a caption. If a press release is duplicated or if an image is selected from the database the previously defined captions are used and can be modified.

===== Positioning of Images in the Text =====

Just type the reference of the image (e.g. [Bild1]) in the main text where you would like it to appear.

===== Deactivating / Delayed activating of Press Release =====

For //deactivating// or a delayed activating a press release, you can set a date while editing the press release. The pressrelease will not be released until the date is reached. So, if a press release should be //deaktivated//, you have to set a date value in future, i.e. 2099-01-01.

**Alternatively** you can set the prefix '###' to the headline. This happens by duplicating a press release automatically. By copying a press release, the "Headline" turns to "### Headline" and will not be delivered via the interface.
